88 Year-Old Woman Fights Back a Nude Intruder

Despite making our houses well equipped with safety devices and security alarm systems, there is always a possibility of someone breaking in. In Portland, Oregon, an 88 year-old-woman, Jennifer, fought back a nude intruder at her place.

Jennifer had opened the back door of her house and was collecting wood blocks for her fire place. In the meantime she saw a nude intruder following her. She entered in the house and he was at her back brushing his body against her. She said "Holy God" and the man stopped for a while. She recalled what she had heard in the news, in which a woman escaped from the similar situation by grabbing the man's testicles. She retaliated and squeezed the man's crotch and he ran out of her house.

Police consider Michael Dick to be the suspect as his appearance matches with the description given by the 88 year-old woman. West Palm Beach personal injury lawyer said "This woman showed her strength by not losing her calm in the stressful situation. The nude intruder could have had any criminal intentions." Fort Lauderdale criminal defense attorney said "This crime can fall under a felony case as the situation could have resulted in a sexual assault, if the woman had not fought back."

Jennifer is an example of someone who fought back because of her mental strength and escaped a dangerous incident. It's advisable not to take things for granted and always take extra precautions - this was the first such incident Jennifer experienced in the 33 years of her stay.
