“The thefts themselves are well organized. They are conducting surveillance, we believe," Melbourne Leading Senior Constable Richard Borradale said.
This woman thief stole $24, 000 from two women in a few weeks. It is suspected that she is carrying out these thefts with the support of a man. One woman lost $20,000 she withdrew from the Commonwealth Bank on the corner of Collins and Queen Streets on November 12. There was another incident in which a woman was successful in avoiding the theft. She immediately understood the “Hot chocolate thief’s” intention, the moment she touched her handbag. The thief is a Caucasian in her forties; 165 cm tall with an eastern European accent. She was last seen wearing a grey formal suit.
This article is a warning to people to be extra careful from any types of spills on them, especially, when carrying a lot of cash or just after withdrawing large sum of money. It’s possible that a team involved in organized robberies is following you. There may be a gang working at various locations with different schemes. Fort Lauderdale criminal defense attorney said “These street thefts involve a lot of planning but can be avoided if victims are alert.” New York City liquor attorney said “Many a times, it’s revealed that the robbers keep a track of the victims activities for weeks and know exactly when and how much they are going to withdraw.”

I always wanted to be a female cop but then again I've wanted every career at one point in time. Keep up the good work!
This article is hilarious One Hypo. This is called the power of demand and supply. Because there was only one purse left, women bumped into it.
Was it on heavy discount? I bet if there were 10 purses (not on sale), they wouldn't have bothered to buy :)
One Hypomaniac, I too wanted to become a police officer and then navy personnel and then………dream has not ended yet.
There is a significant difference between dreams and realities. Most importantly we have no "control over our dreams".
I read you article on "Prada Purse Argument" and felt most women are dreaming all the time. He..he..
Economy is bad , don't let them take your own cash away from you. Don't worry about the spills you can buy new nice cloth as long as you have cash, so hold it real tight!
